About me

What better way to explain who I am and what’s important to me than to share my personal and professional values with you?

Passion

It's important to me that...

I am passionate about helping you to make the most from your investment, and not waste money on projects where the change doesn’t last.

How you'll know

  • I’ll challenge you to broaden the project’s implementation approach to: invest the time upfront to really understand the root cause of the issue before rushing to the solution; include those that are impacted from the start; tackle the difficult questions; extend the project’s attention post the launch party so the change gets fully embedded into the organization’s DNA.
  • You’ll hear me speak with energy and with deep knowledge of what I do.

I bring our 'A' game everyday

It's important to me that...

I bring my ‘A’ game to work everyday. I apply all of my knowledge and experience in the best way possible. I’ll never take the easy way out.

How you'll know

I’m focused. I’m offering you different ways to solve your issues. You’ll hear me say “Have you thought about….?”, “What do you think about…..?”

You’ll see me challenging myself on how I can challenge you to get the best result.

Honesty

It's important to me that...

I’m open and honest and don’t shy away from the difficult conversations; I address them with the tact and sensitivity they deserve.

How you'll know

  • I’ll challenge you to not turn a blind eye to the problem at hand. Burying your head in the sand does not make it go away.
  • If you ask the same question in a number of ways you’ll get the same answer – I won’t hide anything from you. You’ll know where I’m at.

Building on each other’s thoughts and ideas

It's important to me that...

I actively seek to work with others from a diverse background. It enables me to continue to learn and develop.

How you'll know

  • You’ll hear me asking others what they think of my approach.
  • I’ll reach out to people outside of my immediate sphere of influence to challenge thinking and bring new ideas.
  • I’ll actively look to have a mix of people on my teams.

Humility

It's important to me that...

  • I’m ok with the fact that I don’t, and never will, know everything.
  • I’m confident in my abilities and experience, but not arrogant. I’m keen to share my thoughts, whilst being open to new ideas.

How you'll know

  • You’ll see me asking for feedback from all levels of the organization, adapting where it’s in line with my values.
  • You’ll hear me asking “what are we missing?”, “how does it work here?”, “how can we change what we’re doing to make it fit better with your business?”

Respect and Strong Principles

It's important to me that...

  • I respect everyone I come into contact with, irrespective of seniority. I treat people how I would like to be treated myself – as a human being.
  • We are also respected by those that we work with for what we do, how we do it, and how we treat people.

How you'll know

  • You’ll hear people in your business speaking about how they want to be involved with me, because they know that I’ll listen and they’ll feel valued.
  • I’ll respond, I won’t react.

Balance

It's important to me that...

  • I have balance in my life providing me with a challenging work life and a fulfilling home life.
  • I am fully present in all of my conversations and interactions – emotionally, physically and mentally.

How you'll know

  • You’ll hear me talking about the latest research studies and how they contribute to what I do – because I look for that challenge everyday.
  • I’ll be able to recount conversations that I had with you and those closest to me the next day, because I had the capacity to listen in the first place.
  • I have the time and energy to pursue interests outside of work. I’ll tell you about them if you have the time!
